Schoonderwoerd Meat was founded in 1945 and is therefore a company with extensive knowledge and experience. From its inception, the company started producing high-quality meat products and later started importing frozen lamb and mutton from New Zealand. Therefore, in 1985 we also started importing Fresh New Zealand Lamb and Beef directly via both Boat Cargo and Air Cargo. For quite some time, Lamb, Mutton, and Deer meat have been our speciality, but beyond that, we also sell fresh and frozen quality Beef from New Zealand & Australia.

Our slogan is therefore; Specialist in New Zealand Lamb, Mutton, Beef, Venison and Australian Grainfed Beef.

Since January 1, 2010, Schoonderwoerd has been taken over by the 3rd generation Schoonderwoerd, after father Toine Schoonderwoerd has led the business since 1986, the business was taken over in 2010 by his two sons Nimrod & Nigel Schoonderwoerd. This shows Schoonderwoerd to be a true family business and strong in international trade with all the experience gained over the past decades from different generations. After a new facility was built in 2012 by the 3rd generation, it is in 2023 again double expanded and adapted to the latest guidelines focused on the future. With its extensive knowledge and experience, Schoonderwoerd can respond faster, and better to the market and guarantee the customer high quality and service.
